| What is XTCip Broadband Phone Service? |
XTCip is a Voice-over-Internet-Protocol (VoIP) service that offers phone service over a Broadband Internet Connection. Broadband, or cable connection, a regular telephone, a router, and a telephone adapter or IP Phone are required for service.
- XTCip lets you make local, long distance, and international calls at great low rates.
- XTCip works with any new or existing cable, ADSL, or Streamyx broadband connection.
- Calls can be made and received using any existing traditional phone, a router and an adapter.
- Call Management is improved and simplified – set up and manages popular call features like Voice Mail, Call Logs, Call Forwarding and Caller ID with an online XTCip account page.

| How does XTCip Broadband Phone Service work? |
The XTCip gateway or IP Phone converts your voice into packets of data that can be routed over the Internet to the person you want to call. The XTCip Voice Service routes your call to connect to anyone. To enjoy FREE call, both ends must use XTCip products. To call to mobile or other non-XTCip members, option to subscribe our low IDD/STD Voice Services. |

| How is XTCip different from my current telephone service? |
XTCip Broadband Phone Service, as a Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) service, differs from regular telephone service. ADSL or cable connection, a regular telephone, a router, and telephone adapter are required for service. When placing a FREE call among XTCip community, you just need to dial the end 4 digits number of the 8 digits numbers assigned.But when placing a voice call with XTCip calling service, you still just have to dial as a regular telephone service as for international call, you have dial 00 follow by country code - area code and phone number. For example; for international call 00-1-402-8888888 and for local call 03-72614000, 013-2727717. XTCip does not support traditional 911 access to emergency services. XTCip service will not work if power is out. Network congestion or use of data services at the same time as XTCip might affect sound quality. |

| How do I take my XTCip service with me, if I move to a new address? |
You can take your XTCip service with you as long as a ADSL broadband or cable connection is available. Whenever you move, or access XTCip from a different location. |

| With XTCip, can I talk on the phone and use my computer at the same time? |
Yes, your XTCip service will work even if you are simultaneously accessing the Internet, sending files or instant messaging over the same broadband connection with your computer. Use of data services at the same time as use of XTCip may affect sound quality. |

| If I lose power, will I still be able to use my XTCip service? |
No, a power or broadband service outage will prevent ALL service from working; XTCip Service will not function until power is restored. However, you have the option of selecting a back-up phone number in case of an outage of your broadband connection or a power outage. This back-up phone number allows you to forward calls to a cell phone or another number during a power outage. |

| Does XTCip protect me from 1800, 1300 and other premium charged calls (i.e, 600 numbers) on my account? |
Yes, all 1300, 1800 and 600 numbers will be blocked from the service. |

| Do I need to have my computer on to make a call? |
| If you are making calls using a normal telephone (connected to adapter and router) your computer does not need to be on for XTCip to work. You can make and receive calls just like you would with your traditional phone service. |

| Will anyone be able to call my XTCip number? |
Yes or no with XTCip. You can make and receive calls from XTCip member just like you would with traditional phone service – anyone can call you from anywhere. With XTCip services, you can also make calls to other non-XTCip member. To receive calls from non-XTCip member, you must subscribe XTCip DID number service. |

| How do I make Local and Domestic Long Distance calls from my XTCip phone? |
To place a call, simply dial area code follow by the seven-digit phone number (mobile) or 8 digits phone number of the person you are calling. The way using XTCip just like a regular phone service. |

| How do I place International Calls? |
To place an International Call dial 00 and then the Country Code + Telephone Number of the person you are calling. |

| How do I check if l has Voice Mail messages? |

You can check your Voice Mail massages at xtcbill.xtcip.com, after you login cilck at Vmail, please key in your sip number and password provided by xtcip technical. |

| Can XTCip be used with an analog or dial-up modem? |
No, only high-speed Internet service like cable, ADSL can be used with XTCip. |

| Will I need to purchase any additional equipment to use XTCip Service? |
For IP Phone users, If you do not already have a analog telephone adapter, you will need to purchase one to use with your XTCip Service. |

| Will XTCip work with my wireless home network? |
Yes, if using a analog telephone adapter. XTCip is compatible with most home networking systems available at computer retail stores. |

| With XTCip service, do I need a analog telephone adapter? |
A analog telephone adapter is needed to use your XTCip service if you are the IP phone users. Analog telephone adapter is not required if you are using XTCip service with softphone. |

| Can I use an Analog modem with XTCip Service? |
No, dial-up modems are not supported by XTCip Service. |

| What type of broadband/high-speed Internet connection can I use? |
| In order to take advantage of the benefits of XTCip, you will need a high-speed Internet (broadband) Connection, including ADSL, (recommended with 128Kbps and above) High-Speed Dial-up connections, will not provide enough speed to carry voice service with enough reliability and quality. |

| What are the bandwidth requirements for XTCip ? |
The recommended bandwidth requirements for XTCip are 256Kbps download/downstream, 64Kbps upload/upstream. However, if you plan to surf the Internet and download information while using your XTCip service, we recommend 512Kbps download/96 Kbps upload. |

| Do I need a Static IP to use XTCip ? |
No, you do not need a Static IP for XTCip but if you do have one, we will support it. |

| Can I access my XTCip Account Manager from any computer? |
Your XTCip Account Manager can be accessed from any computer with an Internet connection. For Malaysia Subscriber, just type www.xtcip.com. |

| Do I need to open any special ports in I have a firewall in my network environment? |
If you are currently not restricting outgoing traffic from your network, no special ports need to be opened. However if you have a more restrictive environment, you will need to allow outgoing access to UDP port 5060 on host xtcip.com to pass signalling information and voice / video data. |

| Billing Questions |
| How is XTCip Service billed? |
A monthly fee for the XTCip Calling Plan, including the standard set of features, is billed yearly in advance. Additional features not included in the monthly fee, like VoicePlan, are prepaid in advanced before activation. |

| Any XTCip Account Set-Up Fee? |
No. There is no Account Setup fee on XTCip service. However, if you need help to do installation, a charge of RM200 applies and only valid in Klang Valley area at this moment. |

| How does the Money Back Guarantee work? |
XTCip offers a 30-day Money Back Guarantee. If you cancel the service within 30-days of when you activate your XTCip-provided gateway or IP phone, we will reimburse gateway or IP phone which you had bought.. Equipment must be returned in good working condition to our agents or ship to us directly within 14 days after cancellation else no reimburse will be given. However, you still will be charged the monthly fees of RM10 for the first month (per number) and all calls charges you have made. |

| How do I view the call charges or my account on XTCip Service? |
Sign in to your XTCip Account Manager at www.xtcip.com , enter the “Email” and “Password” and enter. You can view all the call made, call statement there. |
